Rental periods and prices

The maximum term for rental is 6 month. After 6 months, your term will expire and a new term must be applied for.

Containers at NBCS are available for the following rental periods only;

• 6 Months

The rental period is to be paid up-front in full and is non-refundable in all cases.

When booking a rental period, new customers will need to pay £70.00 + VAT for a padlock with two keys. The container must be locked with this premium padlock. The padlock will only be purchased once, on your initial rental purchase, and is yours to keep after your rental period is over. Renewals are not subject to padlock purchases.

Description of the Containers available

Containers are as follows.
• 20ft long x 8ft High x 8ft Wide = 160sqft OR 40ft Long x 8ft High x 8ft Wide = 320sqft
• Brand new (2014)
• Made of Steel
• Stored in area protected by CCTV
• Have double doors that open 180 degrees with dual locking bars
• Steel padlock lock box with high security overlapping box
• High quality padlock provided

Access to containers

Times the containers are accessible are as follows.

6am to 9pm 7 days a week

(Codes will be provided to enter the site outside of merchant opening hours by ourselves on collection of your keys)

Operation and Usage of Containers

You will be issued with two keys for your container, Management will carry master keys.

You will also have the option to have items preloaded into the container by Management.

Financials

- The rental period is to be paid in full, via the website, and is non-refundable in all cases.
- Current prices and rental periods available are located on the website – www.nbcstorage.co.uk
- You will receive automated emails to remind you that your container rental is due for renewal 14 days prior to your current hire period ending.

- Price for hiring of containers is subject to increases and customers will be notified in writing giving 30 days’ notice.

Restrictions and Rules of Hire

1. Only the padlock supplied by NBCS may be used to lock the containers
2. There is strictly no drilling of any kind to the container
3. No electric will be supplied with the container
4. There will be no access to the container between 9pm and 6am 7 days a week.
5. There will be no insurance provided for the contents in the containers.
6. All materials must be stored within the container, no external storage.
7. We hold no responsibility for the contents of the container.
8. No waste products that require a licence transfer certificate are to be stored in the container on this site.
Please Note: All containers are subject to a monthly maintenance inspection.

9. No bottled gas to be stored in the container.

10. At the end of your rental period, you are responsible for clearing the container. If we (NBPS) must clear the container you will be liable for the cost of clearing and disposing of its contents.

11. After payment, at the point of collection you will need to bring proof of identity (drivers’ licence) to the NBPS trade counter which is open Monday to Friday from 7am – 4pm. A member of staff will take a copy of your ID and check against our online system that all matches before we can issue your keys to you.

12.All containers are subject to a monthly maintenance inspection.  

Renewal and Notice periods

You are required to give 14 days’ notice in writing before the end of your current rental hire if you wish to end your rental of a container at NBCS. Once we have been notified you have until the end of your current hire period to empty your container and hand the keys back to NBCS.

This agreement can be altered, adapted, or terminated by NBCS at any time should there be a need to do so. We will notify you of any material changes to this agreement via email. Any minor amendments will not be notified, and it is your responsibility to check back on the site periodically to ensure you have the latest terms.

Accepting these Terms

By paying for an order, an implied contract will be created with these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, the order must be cancelled immediately.
